What is Stonevale?

Stonevale is a Minecraft: Java Edition survival server with a cosy valley theme. Players build homes, do quests, learn professions and play together. Playing is completely free.

Chat and behaviour in the game

Our Vale Code requires family-friendly chat. Staff moderate the server, protected land claims stop griefing, and an anti-cheat keeps the game fair. Players who break the rules are warned, muted or banned.

Safety on the website

There are no private messages on the website. Posts from new players are checked by a moderator before they appear, all posts and comments pass a multilingual word filter that also blocks phone numbers and e-mail addresses, and every post and comment has a report button.

Money and purchases

Your child never needs to pay anything to play. The optional store supports the server costs.

• Ranks and cosmetics that only make the game more convenient for the buyer – nothing that gives an edge over other players.
• No loot boxes or gambling with real money.
• At checkout, buyers must confirm they are 18+ or have permission from a parent or guardian.
• Every order gets an e-mail receipt. If something was bought without permission, contact us.

Your child’s data

We only store an (encrypted) e-mail address, the Minecraft name after linking, and what your child writes or buys. No passwords, no tracking, no advertising. You can download or delete everything at any time from the account page, or ask us to do it.

Tips for families

A few things that help:

• Create the website account together, using an e-mail address you can also read.
• Talk about never sharing personal information online, not even with friendly players.
• Turn on two-step verification on the security page of the account for extra protection.
• Tell your child they can always come to you – and to our staff – if something feels wrong.
